Hello TW, first real post, I’ve been sitting back and soaking up all the knowledge to be found here. I’ve tried searching for this and I was unsuccessful, if this question has been answered please point me in the right direction.

Anyway, I’ve finally made my mind up on the uptop bravo roof rack. Among the reasons I like it are the specific fairings for different light setups. But I’m curious how those light setups look with the lights on. How much light does the fairing block, is it better to get a universal light bar cut out etc. so if you have the bravo and lights setup what do you think? Some pics would be great.

Looks like you could put lights on the front, sides and maybe even the back (less common).

I've been making pods for the KC cyclones, quite few owners have put them on roof racks.

Light bars are not my favorite for a number of reasons, mainly because they're expensive for the better ones, pull quite a few amps and you'll need a good amount of space to mount them. Plus, if you want lights on 3+ sides, you'll need 3+ light bars.

The pic below is 8 KC cyclones on a 4Runner, total 4amps/4000+ lumens and $450 cost for lights and pods (excluding wiring).
