Has anyone tried putting a camper shell from a ACSB on and DCSB? Both trucks are 2017 one is a SR5 and mine is a TRD off-road. Forgive me if this is already somewhere but I couldn’t find anything specific to the 3rd gens.

Welcome to Tacomaworld! There’s no access cab short bed, simply doesn’t exist. They all come in 6’ beds.

That makes me feel dumb, the person had it posted as 5ft but it’s pictured on an access cab. Doesn’t inspire confidence in my local Toyota dealer who said “they’re should be no difference” rather than telling me what you said.

If it’s on an access cab then it’s a 6’ bed unfortunately. I think a short bed access cab would be neat.

The easiest way to tell if it’s a long or short bed is to look at the rear tire/wheel well. If it’s butted right up to the back of the cab, it’s a short bed. If there’s 1’ of bed between the wheel well and cab, it’s a long bed.
