So what then? :goingcrazy:My shitty mileage isn't as shitty as the dashboard says? :goingcrazy:How can it be wrong when knows how many miles I've driven? :goingcrazy:I have 33's/winch/camper shell and get about 14mpg according to Toyota. Damn! Now I have to do math between fill ups?

BTW...i was in 2 mileage threads here recently and NOT ONE person mentions this when I'm bitching about shitty mileage? :annoyed:

haha, actually, depending on how much bigger your tires are, your truck will be off on how far you went. It doesn't use GPS, it uses stock tire rotations to determine your distance so theoretically if your tire is 10% bigger, that's how much anything on the computer that uses distance is gonna be off by (odo, speedo, mpg, trip, etc). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong about the odometer being off but I know it throws everything else off so why wouldn't it throw the odometer off too?

Anyways, if you really want your mpg, best way is to track your mileage on a GPS app and calculate between fillups

Every time I drive past a “your speed is”sign I’m driving a mile slower than what is says.

You'll actually be pretty close to true numbers if you go off the computer.

I figure I’m pretty close. In The end it’s all just cheech and Chong anyways. Up in smoke…
