Just wanted to get your guys' opinions on these alignment numbers... I'm running 5100s set on 2" in the front and a 1" in the rear. 275/70r17 tires. Is it as good as I'm gonna get without some UCAs or? Asking because I did get it done by a regular ole tire shop, but could find a specialty shop if I'd get better alignment numbers

I've yet to take her offroad (have to figure out bumpstops since i did a ubolt flip), but I do rub my mud flaps on the street at a 1/2 turn to the left (presumably because of the low caster on the left). Hoping some RokBlokz mud flaps will fix this. Thoughts?

Apologies if there is an alignment thread, I could not find it

Pretty low caster. Can you grab pictures of the lower control arm alignment cams? I suspect you may want to invest in UCA's soon.

The rear cams should be pointing towards the engine. That’ll give you about 1.5-2 degrees of caster.

Your Caster and Camber is related. I would recommend that you get a set of SPC UCA's One of the best places I have found to pick up a set is HeadStrong Offroad. They really work with you to try and get you the best price possible.

    But back to your alignment!
With a set of SPC because you can adjust them. You can decrease the caster on the UCA's (I know that's counter intuitive to what most people believe)
You can still bring the Camber into spec. Then set your Caster to 2.0. (That is the mid point of the Caster range)
This will move your tire forward. You should be able to clear those tires by re adjusting your front fender liner forward. (Just plastic cutting)
I'm in the process of fine tuning my alignment. But I haven't gotten around to completing it.

Check outage links in my sig for more information on lifts and alignment.

This will be the first time I'm actually doing some extensive R&D on the SPC's. Prior to this I just installed them and did the CMC.
This time I'm hoping to be able to set it so I don't need to do the CMC and fully clear my 33" tires at full flex.

There is a fair bit more adjustment left in those cams. Looks like they prioritized setting camber even and to spec over caster. Try to find a shop that deals with modified 4WD's if possible. If not, take it back to them and tell them you want higher caster in the vehicle as it is possible by looking at the current position of the cams.

Thank you for the advice guys! I'll call around for some alignment shops tomorrow and relay the info. Good to know there's a fair bit left in there. I'd be happy with even 1.0degrees caster since passenger side doesn't rub on the OEM already and I don't really care if it rubs wheeling (unless I should?). I'm 80% street at least

I will try to avoid UCAs If I can... don't want to spend $1000+ just to fix a rub (no use for the increased downtravel or performance).

I have it currently set on setting "E" which is +1 degree Caster. My Caster is set at 1.8 degree and my tires rub ever so lightly when I'm in reverse and turning.
I'm going to reset my UCA's to setting "F" which is only +.25 degree, and have the alignment shops set my alignment to 2.0 degrees of Caster. that should get rid of all my tubing issue on the rear fender liner of my front wheel well.

Damn! No CMC? Did you have to trim? I might be hitting you up for your setup if I ever balls up to 35s

Edit: Nvm just noticed you're a 6er. Trying to keep that low COG for the rockies on BI

No that was my previous truck. I actually have the same set up as you. Bilstein 5100 with OME 887 coils and add-a-leafs in the rear. 2" Front lift and 2" rear lift.

35" Tires can probably be done but you may need to take care of the pinch weld, and do a viper cut on your front bumper.

While slightly less sick than a 6er, still a nice truck dude! Sell the last one to the crazy used market or somethin? And to be sure I'm hearing this correctly, you did nothing to trim/mod your wheel wells to fit 35s so far?? Just some UCAs?

Sounds like you'd rub hard offroad at least but Oahu has... 1 whole trail anyways?

You're gonna get me in trouble when I wear these out in 30K

No I'm running 33" tires on this one. Like you I'm trying to stay low CG.

Makes more sense, at least you're running a true 33 (think i'm a 32.4). I'm not sure how true it is since I have no comparison to a 33, but I've heard the 275s bogs the acceleration down a lot less and doesn't hurt MPGs as much.. for a sweet 0.3" reduction in ground/diff clearance. Knew it was gonna rub flaps either way. So far from my stocks otherwise, can hardly tell the difference!
