Ahhh, I wanted to say I knew that. But wasn't sure.

Either way @atrain-95 IMO the only exhaust thats worth a darn is the trd pro exhaust, but its only worth it of you get it for dirt cheap. I found one for just over 200 bucks. I would not pay more than 300 for any exhaust for the taco. I like the way it sounds and looks. Performance meant nothing to me.

I have the TRD PRO exhaust. Factory installed. If I compare it to my 2012 DCSB Sport exhaust. The Sport exhaust (standard) should be the option. It's that much better. No sub 500 hp V6 needs an aggressive exhaust. Hell no V6 or 4 banger period no matter the HP needs a loud exhaust. They sound that bad.
    V8, V10, V12 or go home.

What made you prefer the standard exhaust over the trd exhaust?

Reminds me of something I've seen before. But it was from factory. Something European I think?

I just picked up the magnaflow overland exhaust. performance, low noise, anti drone tech, already precut high clearance. Really well thought out, how could I resist....the TRD exhaust didn't look too appealing to me, magnaflow checked all the boxes

My ‘84 GTI had a hole in the muffler that made it sound so mean. Once it got past golf ball sized, I got pulled over. So my suggestion is Put a hole in the muffler. And a clothes hanger trough the cat and clean out all those “sound barriers” in there.

Yes, I agree with this. OEM TRD Pro sounds the best (my opinion of course)...and doesn't annoy people.

The quietness. I like the sound of a good sounding engine. The 3.5 just isn't it.
