interesting. i saw jf_rides on ig post about the trifox and was interested.

the diy carbons look pretty legit with different frame models based on the bigger brands.... this is tempting

I've hit rocks, the little booties help. I've hit hard enough to send me OTB due to pedal/crank strike.
Your leg protects from carbons biggest weakness, abrasion from rocks lol.

Uni strut is great for bike racks on the roof! I ran with a double rack for years before the company car I got came with out any type of roof system. I still have all the parts. My coworker who helped me set it up, he has three spots set up, two for the regular bikes and one for his tandem!

It’s a great way to go about a rack!

    not enough.
Yeah, I've considered diycarbonbikes for a hardtail adventure bike or a simple gravel rig...

Haha. Fair. I think I'll stick with my GX Eagle alu. for now.

Didn’t know they had an open box section. Is that on their direct site?

geartrade.com, you can see who the seller is rather it’s private or company. The UPS shipping notification even says directly from Backcountry.

Snagged open box Now Drive bindings for my snowboard through gear trade (seller backcountry) for half off. Plastic wasn’t even removed.

definitely recommend looking at backcountry as a seller on geartrade if you guys haven’t

Backcountry is wonderful! I’ve been purchasing from them for years now, 10-12 years for stuff…back when they were called steapandcheap.com for general clothing and then their bike site was chain something…I don’t remember. But seeing they sell on other sites! Oh brother! Just what I need to know :)

And this coming on the day my wife said….I think I need to give you an allowance :) hahah - I’ve gone a little bonkers on some bike stuff the last month.

Had a DIYcarbon XCR29 hard tail (based on Specialized Epic) that I rode for XC and ‘gravel’. Purchased as an experiment for $375 new in 2019 with custom color; long lead time. Broke top tube a couple months ago and guy who runs the US sales couldn’t help as it was out of warranty. It worked OK for a little bit but frame flex caused paint to crack all over. Replaced with a Specialized Chisel frame that I’m much more confident in.

Only pics I have of it assembled and then the fracture on the top tube. My advice; you get what you pay for in the end

I just sold my first item on gear trade as a test (a shirt that didn’t fit me anymore) and now I need to sell a lot more stuff I don’t use haha

The Stage is their super light FF with the best air glow of the lineup. Should be a good option if the fit is right for you.
Rear only…where are you seeing left in the screenshot?

Fit is right based on? Just their sizing chart or do you mean it might not be comfortable when I get it
