I know this is pretty significantly damaged, but could this be reversed.393A8682-036A-408A-8D26-B576EC827B4E.jpg1973DC67-42BE-45C0-A915-68A867BE8A11.jpg

Anything's possible with enough money thrown at it; and without actually seeing what's going on with the frame itself, hard to say, but my guess is, no (at least not within the bounds of reason/practicality).

I wouldn't buy it with your money. But yes, with enough time and money, I suppose the frame and other parts could be replaced. Hard pass.

No, that truck needs a new frame. I'm sure someone will buy it at auction and "straighten" the frame before selling it to some poor fool though.

I saw a similar used truck for sale like your truck for over
$40,000. That kind of money can "fix" it (make it look pretty).

Throw some 2x6s in and some lag bolts and you’ll be good! But really that’s gonna be expensive

no, you can't straighten these frames without compromising the strength/integrity of the whole unit.

    3rd gen thinks it's a 1st gen..
Frame is bent, and probably in the worst way - from a rear impact..

Take a sheet of paper, crumple it up into a ball. Now 'fix' it.. see what we mean?

Just fix the bumper and drive it as is! You could become famous as the originator of a stupid new trend; the Half Carolina Squat.

Rear end is toast, but look at the passenger cage. Even looks like the doors would open normally. Taco did it's job once again. Even if it could be fixed IDK that I'd want that truck back.

Yeah, you will not be buffing that out. Besides, even if they did attempt it, it'll never drive the same. I'd hope for a total loss.

I grew up in north Jersey (Essex County). I had friends who definitely would have done that....or at least tried.

There's a reason insurance companies deem a vehicle a total loss, it's repairs are going to cost more than it's worth. They know what they're doing, if they get could save a dollar by fixing it, bet your ass they would!

It would need a new frame. cryptolyme does make a good point about frames being weaker after a realignment. A weaker frame can cause all types of safety issues if it the tacoma were to get rear ended again. That sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen lol.
