Hoping somebody out there has the answer or at least an idea to help me out. I have a 2018 Tacoma and I've got water leaking into the passenger area. I just had the cowl replaced by Toyota and still water leaks in. I've had the a/c drain behind the firewall checked and that isn't it either. It's happening when it rains outside. I've noticed water on the right panel (closest to door) and even on some of the wiring which makes me think it's coming in from a bad door seal/plug somehow. Anybody have this issue or any idea where to look specifically?

Pull your cabin air filter out. If it's wet then it is coming in from the air intake underneath the cowl. That is the most likely location.

Do you have a roof rack?

A couple years back, some one was plagued by this. It ended up being a pinhole leak in the metal structure under the cowl, I believe.

Cabin air filter is dry, appreciate the tip though. No roof rack or sun roof. I also had the 3rd brake light sealed last week per the service bulletin.

A few have reported water coming from the door panel, leaking through the speaker.

Next step sounds like you should remove the kick panel, the a pillar panel and the passenger seat. And maybe the door panel... but if you are seeing water under the dash this is probably not necessary. Now lay down (head under the dash) in the truck with a flashlight and have a friend start soaking down the truck with a hose until you see where the water is coming from.
