    Why buy an X-runner and lift it? Seems very inefficient, just get a peerunner. perhaps he was trying to save money on lugnuts?

    probably bought it thinking they were going to keep it a certain way, plans changed, and instead of going through the hassle of selling/buying a prerunner just lifted it instead
