I pick up my new Taco at the dealer tomorrow and I have a Lomax hard tri-fold order on the way.
Pics will follow, hopefully in the very near future!

My choice was based on good reviews, slim, lightweight, easy installation and removal, and like dealing with made in the USA.

Last we were told there are no current plans to do this because that Tacoma generation is no longer in production. However, I tend to agree that it was such a popular model that I believe they would still sell quite a few.

In July I painted and cleared the 2 top pieces to hold my Stance upright to match the truck paint. Today I finally got around to putting them on the truck. I’m quite happy with how they look. I taped off the button top so it wouldn’t end up looking ratty with scratched paint from use.

Nice job, that looks great. Really helps it blend in, almost looks factory!

Thank you. I was really worried about how they would come out as I’m not always the best at spray painting, but one came out near perfect and the other was really good. I think I’ll wax them both tomorrow.

Love my lomax cover so far love how easy it is to latch and unlatch and the tailgate still opens and closes very smooth. I had a cheapo hard cover trifold from Amazon which was around 450-500 can’t explain how much better this cover is definitely recommend

I'd recommend seeing if someone near you has one that they would be willing to let you test. I have a 2016 but if you do research on the parts/bed size etc it might fit... I know I bought the bed rail for the cab end of the bed for a second gen bed and it fit perfectly.

I just put the Lomax hard tri-fold tonneau on today.
I chose it for it's sleek looks and made in America.
What a piece of cake to install and, it comes off in seconds with no tools!

Shoutout to Luke at truckalterations.com for getting me hooked up with a Lomax tri fold. Ordering it was straight forward and it arrived in 5 days. It was easy to install, looks great, and Luke saved me a couple hundred dollars from the local aftermarket truck parts store.

I just had the 1st opportunity to test for water tightness of my Lomax hard Tri-Fold.

Came through a torrential thunderstorm for a little over 15 minutes on the highway...

NOT A DROP OF WATER INSIDE!

I like being able to fold and stow vertically near the cab. Can someone tell me the 'lost space' when folded up? if a tall object like a dresser is slid in tight to the folded up cover, how far horizontally would the dresser be from being fully forward if the Lomax was not there?

    Thanks in advance!

There is some leeway in mounting. But approximately 3 and 1/4 for most of the cover. The safety hooks on the ends add another 5/8ths or so.

That will do for me, Thank you James! Your measuring took away all my concerns, Made it an easy decision.

Just ordered Stance Long-bed from Luke, GREAT SERVICE, answered my questions Sat and Sunday, and got a tracking number already this evening, I think it was after 4pm when i made payment. Can highly recommend.

So I don't know how Luke does it: I asked questions both Sat and Sun and Luke provided quick answers. Monday morning I committed and asked for an invoice. Monday evening after 4pm, I paid the invoice by CC, and by 7pm I was provided a tracking number. This is Monday 7pm. The tracking number did not provide additional info at that time, not sure because of the antique Ipad I was using, but I assumed it was just too soon, since the order was only hours ago.

The package arrived on my porch on Wednesday Morning! Recap, ordered 4pm Monday, arrived 10AM Wednesday. Incredible!

    Thanks again Luke.
