Im trying to tow some stuff for my business and i want to get a good size trailer atleast a tandem axle but I can't figure out if I have a towing package or not. I looked for the large fuze that supposed to say 100 or 130 and i found a 120 so I have no idea what I'm looking for anymore I can't find anything on youtube or google that tells me what to look for besides a fuze that says 130 and can't find what the alternator or hitch looks like, so Im wondering if someone here could help me with that.

Open your hood, look at your oil filter, does it have a thick disk under the oil filter with two lines coming out of it? If so that's an oil cooler and only available with the tow package.

Beyond that the only differences are the high output alternator, not a big deal if you're not pulling a trailer with a ton of lights or extra batteries, the 7 pin plug, honestly 4 pin is fine, the trans cooler if auto, that is a nice thing to have if you're towing near the capacity, long distance, or frequently but not going to stop you from towing, and of course the factory tow hitch.

I do not have the towing package and the reason it took me so long is that I was under the truck trying to find the oil filter realizing its not under... lol

Most of the important components of the factory tow package can be added relatively easily but as someone pointed out in this thread there can be potential liability issues in the event of an accident if you are towing more than the truck is rated for (which without the tow package is ~3500#).

There's also a pink fan clutch that only tow packages have. If you have it, it's hard to miss

Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter) OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
The V6 towing package also adds trailer sway control software to the vehicle stability control (VSC), a service connector for trailer brake controller on vehicles with 7 pin connector, and a heavy-duty battery. The cost of this option (2014) was $650. Definitely a bargain. I believe the cost of the oil cooler alone can exceed this amount if purchased separately, depending how/where you source it.
