    ^LOL of course not. Just as a point of comparison. Toyota owner's manuals are pretty lacking for basic maintenance instructions compared to some other makes. Just because the Toyota manual doesn't mention a dipstick, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

    If you drain your trans you have no business changing oil.

    I also discovered a trans dipstick in my 2012 2.7 4 speed auto trans. I could not find mention of it in the owners manual.
