I’m using Black Magic Tire Wet on my tires. Will overspray from this or similar products damage the alloy wheels? I’m trying to keep it off but there’s always some overflow so not sure if I’m being overly cautious or if it will mess up the finish.

It won't damage the wheels. Some products may damage paint though. Best bet is to apply the tire shine, let it dry, then wipe it off.

Shit I found on CL or EBAY that I could screw on.
No, the tire dressing won't mess up the wheels. You don't want it on your rims because you will have to clean it off. I usually shy away from spray anything. I rather just spread with a cloth.
