1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I’m running new 555 outer tie rods (I apologize if this causes someone to dig up that photo lol) and OEM ball joints with like 15K miles. I can order OEM tie rods. Just really don’t want to go full parts cannon.

The lower control arm theory from @treyus30 is a possibility. These were on my 04 in 2017 and a shop actually might’ve torqued them in the air. Still odd since they were able to align my 04 fine back then.

 

This, bushing clocking is important on ucas the bushings always tear if they arnt clocked with a puck spacer

Literally never seen an old Toyota truck with a puck spacer where they wernt torn

 

Got my carolina squat kit installed

 

My last load like that set the ABS off at every stop.

 

Without my add a leaf Id be on the bumps and I imagine it would do that.

 

I still havent replaced my abs fuse, ended up at the bottom of my to do list when i realized how useless it is

 

Hey guys, it's winter soon so I'm looking at getting winter rated (3PMS) tires for the Rockies. Should I get a brand new set of Nokian Hakka LT3 for $1500ish, or go for the like new set of Wildpeaks AT3 for $1200? Mostly will be commuting to and from the resort for work, and maybe into British Columbia to ski there as well. I have a set of mud terrains for the summer.

 

If they're snow/winter use I'd probably spring for the Nokian. I think that's what my buddy runs on his Jeep in Vail during winter.

If you didn't have summer tires I'd recommend the Wild peaks for year round use
