I was looking at FOA and ADS as well, but forgot about Elka lol

So this is what I currently have: https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/...EoLa9qluptiVT1Bohe9sbn1K0Qu0kY3saAvSWEALw_wcB

I likely have these at or slightly above 3" of lift to level with my shackle flip. The driver side is a little past max preload and the passenger side is at max preload. The ride has still been amazing compared to OME 886s their shocks.

    3" lift max -

    ADS - https://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-...-bolt-on-kit-for-2005-2018-toyota-tacoma.html

    Elka - https://www.elkasuspension.com/prod...005-to-2020-2-in-to-3-in-lift/?c=72e1ba2726d6

    Fox - https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/...ront-lift-shocks-2005-2017-toyota-tacoma-4wd/

    2.5" lift max

Who else makes coilovers for Tacomas?

I consider but I wouldn't lol not with winters/salt. They're notorious to rust.

TBH I only had the fronts on since January last year and I don't drive the truck in the winter unless it's to go snow wheeling. I also liberally fluid film all my shit, including the shocks so hard to say. Rears have been on since June 2019 with similar care/results.

Thanks for the info! I also don't drive my truck in the snow. Mainly for the salt, but the STT pros aren't that good on ice, but are good in deep snow.

Update since it’s been a while!

Got a 3D printer to keep developing products for Squareone Creations

    302E4B94-559D-437F-AFAB-1E2CD2F15822.jpg

    3131AECA-9084-41D2-A196-41645B4C7553.jpg

    AFCFC9E1-AF38-4EDE-A96E-1C1C43D26AD8.jpg

Also I upgraded the springs to stiffer springs from the jump. stock springs are garbage and my golf buddy had a bunch extra.

Decent success with 3DBenchy. My X axis was a little loose so that was an easy fix.

    D6DB37EF-1492-48AD-A5E8-9F5C9934CDAC.jpg

spent a bunch of time leveling the bed and repeating this torture test while waiting for another part for the printer to arrive

    63D35A9A-D5DA-4256-A722-B5660D7BAE76.jpg

After some successful and spaghetti prints my BLTouch arrived. It probes the bed and adjusts the code for whatever the tilt of the bed is automatically. This has saved me sooooo much time since installation. Worth the $10 easily since it came from the bundle.

    20AB3951-4806-44E9-93CD-B0258034A0CF.jpg

Set off for my first 100% designed by me print.

    02963D6D-AB01-4755-ACD1-CCD5EC73421E.jpg

which after 2 7.5 hour print sessions turned into this:

    26727A40-3F56-4520-A08D-E7308F0C9D07.jpg

    Which led to this:

    F5B4CC25-24AF-478F-B1F5-9E9800D8694C.jpg

    And then this:

    0D9E42FA-B7D7-406A-B51B-F7BA18F44F71.jpg

    Completed

    03E06C3E-0C58-492F-93D1-92C279A05B42.jpg

    and installed

    2688190D-9F9C-484B-B931-B049629493F8.jpg

I did this to prep for water cooling the workstation over the winter.

I’ve printed a bunch of stuff so far, upgrades for the printer, useful stuff for around the house. I’m printing daily to keep learning before I make the jump to ABS and can print useable parts for Automotive use!

@geekhouse23 going through what I missed in your thread reminded me that I have to do this too lol

Debating if I want to just take them off to refinish and get some plates added to the top a la @Chux as our GSD is getting older and is starting to require help getting into the back.

I was saving it as a project in a bigger garage after we buy a house and a great opportunity to learn to weld but that's looking like it'll be at least a year with the housing market being trash.

A house we looked at 9 months ago was sold for $293k and is back on the market right now for $350k. And I know they'll get it and unless that house had a ton of upgrades it's not even worth the $293k lol

Yeah I'm not exactly stoked with how the market is, but Hopefully we get a nice market correction soon :)

I think it is inevitable. It can't sustain what it has been doing long term.

Haven't updated lately, but I'm using the rig to prototype more parts for Squareone Creations :)

Other than that it's been sitting while the new DD gets all the mileage due to mpg and turbo noises haha
