I’ve read a ton on this forum. Lots of good info! I just have a quick question. Those of you that have done a halogen to oem led headlight conversion and have been running them for months/years, have you run into any issues? I’m getting ready to do the swap on a 21 TRD/OR and want to know if you have had any issues/gremlins/problems to look out for. Thanks!

They have only been out 2 years I believe, so not much for long term data. Toyota’s OEM quality is unmatched, so I would have zero concerns about the lights themselves.

The only thing that ever fails on Toyota OEM led's are the high beam shudders. I can't recall if the high beams on the new Tacoma LED models are shudder or inner bulbs though.

You must be thinking HID? The LEDs are separate high beam specific reflectors, no moving parts.

LED on Rav4, and HID on Venza use shudders, there's not many Tacoma LED trucks that I Can draw experience from.

Had my truck since 1/5/2020, factory equipped with LED headlights. Absolutely no issues with them.
