What's a good price for a used 2021 Tacoma

I know the market sucks- I have a chance to purchase a 2021 OR ,DCSB, 4X4, Premium package, Silver, 7000 miles on it from a ""Private Owner"" for $40,000 I would have to pay Tax, Tag and Tittle. Is that a good price or should I keep looking.

I paid $39,228 OTD before my $1,000 trade was factoring in for brand new TRD sport 4x2 with no options other than all weather mats. Do you have to pay taxes on that $40k when you register the car? Where are you located? Location matters in this market.

 

I still have to pay Tax and tags. This is in the South East Region

If you could get out the door for MRSP and 7500 miles or less you'd be doing well.

Be patient, maybe up to a year, and things will change.

If you buy now at these prices, be prepared to keep it a long time. Because when values recede so will your equity.

I predict a future raft of upside down owners like hasn't been seen in a long time.

 

I wouldn't spend that much. I paid $4k less for a brand new Sport five months ago.
