Hey guys. I got the dreaded driveline vibration. Most of the material I check out deals with the 2 piece shafts with carrier bearings which regular cabs don't have. I found the post below that discusses using a drive line spacer that took away the vibration. Is this a viable option to take care of the vibrations? Ujoints are good and greased up. Mostly experience it once I get up to hwy speeds or I decelerate and it almost sounds like metal grinding a bit.

Currently the truck is lifted in the rear with wheelers 3 leaf AALs and the front has a 2.5 inch lift. Thanks all for the help.

I have a 3 inch lift, but my driveshaft is two pieces and after the lift was in I actually put in spacers for my carrier bearing to bring that angle down bought them from old man emu
And I did notice a difference

Yeah I know that for the 2 piece drive shafts the shims to bring the carrier bearing down helps a lot but I don't have that.

@whatstcp man a custom shaft is gonna be some money. Hope it ain't the only option...thanks for the input though.

A couple of years ago, I had my RC lifted about 3”. Had a broken leaf spring and said fuck it, got an entire EMU setup with an entire new suspension. A short while later I noticed the driveline buzz on deceleration at highway speeds. I did recently install a 3’4” driveline spacer and it took care of that noise. Has anyone ever had to lengthen the front driveshaft as well? It seems I get the same noise on deceleration in 4wd but from the front shaft.
