That's terrible. I learned this lesson early, I used to get awful poison ivy rashes as a kid.

    Calamine lotion!

I've had poison oak every place you can imagine, I can look at it and get it.

When my brother and I were young my dad gave us our own little place to play with the few toy tractors we had, it was a spot covered with poison oak. We both had it from head to toe and everywhere in between. We even missed some school because of it.

I had workers bring in electric tools so hot that you couldn't touch them and say "yeah, it was working fine and then some black stuff came out, it started smoking and quit".

Even better (at un-plausible deniability) are fork truck drivers:

driver (on phone) : yeah, we got a (fluorescent) light out down here -- dunno whats wrong...
    I go down to department
driver: can you put bulbs in it -- dunno what happened to em'
me: No, the eight foot fixture is 6-1/2 feet long bent in a V
    driver: dunno what happened
me: you are sitting on a fork lift, the light is 14 feet in the air, the floor is freshly swept
    driver: dunno...

Worst we have around here are stinging nettles.... they can be annoying, but the 'sting' usually subsides in <hour.

Friend and I were in a bowling alley one night playing foosball pretty rough, there may have been alcohol involved. The flourescent light above the table got broke from the ball, it made a mess, we calmly walked away.

Was playing ping pong at the local volunteer FD one night, a visitor who wasn't a fireman smacked an 8' light above that table, we had to clean it up.

The building we are in had some tenants next door and they had an 8' bulb out, I heard it bust. They couldn't figure out how to get it out of the fixture

Nice smooth little mill, 7 main bearings.

With some work you could put a 2wd XJ Cherokee 4.0 with overdrive in with a 3.55 or 3.73 rear. That would make for a surprising little Rambler at a stop light. Still have 9" front drum brakes though.

I changed thousands of the 8 foot bulbs and probably at least 1000 ballasts. During a process expansion they purchased a budget fixture apparently, about 4 years later the ballasts started failing wholesale. The hotter the area the earlier they failed. Naturally the fixtures were installed before the equipment, presented some challenges to get to some of them.

We have 17 double 8' light fixtures out here in the shop, about 5 years ago they got converted to LED and the ballast were removed, tombstones changed, etc. they are so much brighter and cheaper to run.

Hey, it got us a 3 digit speeding ticket in North Dakota, back in '87 or '88. It's actually a great engine. S*** simple to work on. Had to replace the valve seals and a couple of other things a while back. From the time I lifted the hood, until the time I put the head on my bench? <25 minutes! Try matching that with your Tacoma!:rofl::rofl:
