Either way sounds like it is no longer your problem. It's great feeling walking out of that situation

We don`t ever talk about Poison Ivy!!

I seem to have gotten better with Age or am not crawling around in the woods like back in those days

The worse case I ever had was from burning brush that it seems had lots of Poison Ivy it was all over any exposed skin.

I think I even want to the Doctor the one good aspect I was off from school

All right fellers, the time of reveal is upon us:

The mystery little pedal is the pump for the windshield washer. You can see the pump unit lurking behind the pedal. They work like the bulb pump for an outboard motor. I had a 1971 AMC Gremlin that was probably the last car built with vacuum wipers, the pump was behind the dash, you pumped the wiper knob to make the washer work. The little button on the left of the toe board is the dimmer - most folks probably knew that already. (common until about 1980)

This car is a 1959 Edsel, made by Ford from 1958-60 -- the terrible marketing blunders surrounding this car line have been studied in business classes for decades. There was a tremendous amount of hype for what turned out to be a pretty ordinary car -- and worse a car that the public didn't like. Seems the folks at Ford thought they knew what they were doing and designed the car without enough outside market research -- say like asking people "does this look nice to you?" for example.

A common comparison was "an Oldsmobile sucking a lemon".

I read that it is very dangerous to be around it when burning -- you can get it in your lungs.

I never have had it until now, in the last 6 months I have spent more time outside than the last 10 years combined.

Now the you mention about the lungs I think I was told I was lucky that did not happen.

Being that was a few years ago I recall either that happened to someone or the Doctor mentioned it.

The good old days the Doctor keep records on index cards it had to be dire in those days to even think of going

We definitely have them here but I've never gotten into them. It happens when you're out moving through high grasses with skin exposed, or contacting lots of plants in general.

A guy I work with snapped his cv on a brand new mini duramax Colorado before he got to his first oil change doing some "mild trail riding"...

So instead of getting it fixed and learning his lesson, he trades it in on a brand new minimax Sierra At4.

    Facepalm:rolleyes:

We have chiggers here, always have. They are bad in tall grass and around pine trees. The clear fingernail polish trick is an old wives tail, it doesn't help. By the time they start itching the chigger is long gone.

I wonder is Poison Ivy just an East Coast thing ?

Now going back a few years I don`t recall seeing it in the Mountain west maybe a temperature or altitude issue
