Coolant bottle/ fan shroud replacement

While changing my coolant I broke the overflow bottle drain nipple. It looks like the bottle and the shroud are one piece. I couldn’t find any Tacoma vids to show the replacement procedure but came across one for the FJ. Can anyone tell me if releasing the belt to remove the fan is the easiest way to get the shroud out? How do I know how much tension to put back on the tensioner pulley?

I figured it out. Easier than I anticipated. For anyone else wondering, the Rad hose does not need to be disconnected to get the shroud out. If Toyota made the bottle separate from the shroud, replacing it would have been much easier.

 

Yeah. Still don’t know what idiot engineer thought that was a good idea.
