I assumed it was from a ranch. There is all kinds of high fenced property out that way. Having said that, if they escape the ranch by whatever means and come on to my lease, I can still legally harvest that animal as long as I have a current hunting licence.

Since you are the Wildlife Peeping Tom, I do appreciate your input. :hattip:

Went for an hour and a half yesterday after work. Saw 8, but no shot. My big 7 came out and got to about 40 yards. But it was so thick I didn’t have a shot.

I went and checked my camera today, killed, no exaggeration, 200 mosquitos and had about 50 bites. I dunno how y'all do it where season is already open.

I'll get on that. I did have some salsa when I got home... That raisin brand didn't help none with the skeeters that's for sure

bow. Weve got about 5ish more weeks before rifle opens.
dude I look like a meth head. I counted 22 bites a couple days ago. Long sleeve underarmour shirt lets all the bites through.

I hunt in swamps full of mosquitos , Thermacell keeps them away or I couldn't handle it.

I saw your IG post and thought Georgia ain't far from BAMA, must be rough. Bow opens mid October here and I stopped bow hunting years ago because it's just too hot here till mid November anyway, might as well just wait and sling led.

    True story....
A couple of years ago I walked my fat ass out in this swamp, swatting skeeters the whole way...found a tree to climb and I could barely climb it cause the skeets were killin me. Got climbed up finally, thought to my self, "no way I'll make it more than 15 minutes with these skeets".
Anyhow, fired up the Therm and for about 5 minutes nothing happened. Once it got warmed up, all the skeets disappeared. I ended up shooting a doe just before dark.
I dont particularly like Thermacells because its something extra to carry and they have a smell to them, but at times it's either use the Thermacell or go home.

Yea, it was pushing 80 when I shot her. I got down quick and got her gutted. Luckily, I had my 4wheeler on my truck so I walked my happy ass out, got it and went back in to drag her out. I would have been drenched by the time I got her out if I didn’t happen to have it with me.

The 6 I missed wasn’t too concerned. He came back the next day. Weather is supposed to be cooling off later this week. Hoping it gets them moving a bit. Lows in the 40s Saturday morning and I’m finally off…can’t wait

Picked up 25 seed ticks Saturday hunting eastern KY. Anyone have any comments as to how to tell how old a rub is? Saw plenty with bark shavings on the ground but they looked kinda old so idk.

Went out again Sunday with a little bug spray and got 0 ticks, bumped around some deer and found this on top of a ridgeline.
