I've found if you know you got the poison ivy, wash with dawn dishsoap. It'll get the oils off your skin. It's the oils on the leaves that cause the rash.
I'm lucky, chiggers don't like me. My wife however got them real bad a while back. It didn't look fun.

Yawl gonna think I'm crazy but the best thing for poison ivy is....................urine.

Someone told me a while back to do this in the shower, pee in a cup, scrub your ivy until it's raw/bleeding then pour the pee on it. The acid in urine stops the itch, I've tried it on more than one occasion.....it works great and the itch was gone the next day. Yeah it's nasty I know but the ivy is bad stuff :D

I'm the same way; I rarely get chiggers, yet my buddy gets covered in them. We're the opposite with ticks; he rarely gets them, yet I get covered in them.

Edit: I've grabbed handfuls of poison ivy and pulled it off trees so I could hang my stand, never once had a problem with it:notsure:

If that was a billable job at your normal shop labor what would it cost?

Hi Creed n Crew. Just got back from the landfill or transfer station. I think it's more of a transfer station where it gets hauled off somewhere else.
Got rid of mothers garbage and some of my own.

I've gotten a little itch before from some poisen ivy, maybe a little from the poison oak too. Just a mild irritation, I liken it to fiberglass insulation. Basically it doesn't bother me very badly.
Had some chigger bites too before but not in a long time.
I'm going to check and see if I've got any exterior paint around and repaint the side boards on that trailer. Maybe they'll last a little longer if I get them sealed up again.
Might even go to the sore and buy some paint.

If it came in the front door, I'm guessing around $100 but really have no idea.
