Oh I don't disagree, it's just Toyota rounding off the displacement of 3,444cc if I recall. A lot of people see right through it though, because I saw it as 3.5L when the LS 500 debuted in January 2017 and changed course, when I heard 3.4 and saw why. During development, it was referred to as a 3.0L back in 2013-14.

It's all good, I saw it anyway and that is too long to quote LOL. Same here, I have a lot too, so I respect the dedication to collecting autos.

After seeing the interior in a few different colors schemes and a few different angles I do like it more than at first glance. Same with the exterior with different colors and trim levels. One thing I'm glad they kept was the sport shifter. I can't stand these rotary dial selectors or like the GMC pull/push selectors. The sport shifter is just more natural and gives you a place to rest your hand.

It's a twin turbo V6 with an electric motor attached. Where did you get that it only came in a 4 cylinder?

I like it. I'll wait to see the interior in person. From the pics I've seen, I don't love the seat graphics. Made me think they tried a camouflaged approach to them.

Aside from that, I have to laugh at how everyone, regardless of what vehicle it is, absolutely hate new designs. Then a year or two later, everyone is buying them and nobody is talking shit any more.

Anyway, depending on price and whats going on w/ my tacoma in a year from now, I might be a buyer. I'm wanting something a little bigger as my camp trips are pushing beyond a month at a time and I find myself wanting more space for stuff. I don't tow anything, so I don't care about that. Just banking on Toyota reliability.

People don't like change and designs have to grow on people. I'm usually not a fan of any Ford truck for the first year or so and then it grows on me. The exceptions being the new Ranger (still think it is Fugly) and the new F150 (it was such a minor redesign that I liked it right away). I usually like GM styling right out of the gate although I hated the 2016-2018 Silverado front ends. I don't think there has been a Tundra design I've liked yet though. I felt the first two were too bubbly and this most recent one was trying too hard to take after RAM. I have no words for this latest design yet. The interior isn't bad, but the exterior was beaten into form with the ugly stick.

@Carmaker1 , I have no doubt Toyota will sell all they can make even with the catfish face. Speaking for myself alone, I remember seeing it in 04 on the 4runner, and promptly buying an Xterra instead. I didn't like it then, while it has grown on me, I don't love it still. I can say is it cost Toyota a sale once, and it could again.

I'm also disappointed TM didn't do more in the bed like Ford has done. Really let down by the battery storage eating up the under seat storage also.

    Anyways, love your posts.

In regards to this being in a taco, you referring to the 4 cylinder version the taco is getting? Or something else lol?

Agree to disagree. Their recent Explorer relaunch, bronco fiasco, Mustang E pricing/issues fiasco, etc certainly paint a different picture. They make some key good products but it's a huge hit and miss with most of their portfolio. I would no way in hell call them "best for a reason".

Info on this truck is pretty much out there for the most part. Doesn't seem to be much rumorwise for the motor in the Tundra outside of MPG.

Motor is a twin turbo V6, or the same with hybrid. That's it.

Hmm, never heard that rumor. Yeh just 2 V6's throughout all trim levels.
