doesn't matter what you have since the speed of airing up in a group is set to the slowest compressor doing it's best.

Is there a resource available such as a checklist of items recomended to bring on a trip of this caliber? Not just in terms of late season camping but especially for the off-roading. What are some things people recommend, other than air compressor and air heater...lol

Everyone else will have recovery gear. Make note of it when you're there. As far as camping essentials, that depends on what you, specifically, need.

    Wood and booze

Did I say wood and booze? Cuz I meant to say wood, and booze...

Listen, there's going to be about 50% of the peeps there, hoping you get stuck. Most won't admit to it but they do. Simply so they can extract you from said predicament. They don't want to see damage or injury, but make no mistake...they will secretly cheer a stuck truck.

Because they all carry gear and have knowledge of it and want to use it...

So back it your question...bring what you need for your creature comforts, but THEIR creature comforts from you are wood and booze. You want the guys you rely on for getting your ass out of a sling to be appreciated. Wood and booze.

And don't be an asshole, but that's just common sense...until you have all the recovery gear and knowledge yourself. Then let your asehole flag fly,

    Wood and booze

Fvking string of pearls right there...should be a club mandate

Just bring you, yourself, the truck, the dog, the other dog, at least 5 pallets of wood, some booze for the evening (no drinking and driving here), everything and the kitchen sink.

don't over think this - it's just a fun time with the group around a camp fire and some trails.
if you get stuck, we'll get you out - We're not like some jeepers that'll leave you out there stranded.

In all seriousness, Whatever you think you will need to camp and stay warm. It will be cold at night. In terms of trails, you should have some recovery gear to get yourself unstuck if need be. Straps, shackles, etc...
Bring what you have and you can see what others use and get an idea for the next trip.

TRD skid-plate, Cali raised trail edition rock sliders, Diamondback HD cover, Cali raised bed stiffeners, 265/75/R16 BF KO2’s, extended rear diff breather mod, demon shackle mounts, factor 55 hitch receiver/recovery point,
If anything I would suggest at the minimum picking up a shackle and receiver for your hitch if you don’t already have one? I’m sure between me and the others in group 4 we’ve got the recovery gear to get you out if it comes to that! With what we’re doing up there its essentially a scenic fall drive with some rocks and mud lol. Well maybe more mud than expected with the rain they’re gonna be getting leading up to the trip:mudding:

Oh yeah, and wood and booze!

Most importantly, breakfast, lunch, supper and dinner for me. I know some guys will cover breakfast @Tridet167 , some dinner @tacoma16 :boink:which leaves lunch and supper open to whoever would like to volunteer.

Yes, it was me, but we didn't actually need the oil. That being said I've had 5l with me for every trail run since then.

So the weekend is going to be extremely busy since there is another group run there. Just want to remind everyone to read through the post #1 where we are camping and take camping spots on that side to avoid issues.

If you can arrive earlier to take over :anonymous:
