We don't get those big views regularly over here on the Beast Coast. Wish we did

Trust me, not much like that on the wet side of the Breast Coast either, not open and rolling like that. Not complaining, that just looks great.

    how was snowshoe?

Ben Cathro, one of pinkbike's editors, has new respect from me. Dudes super fast to even qualify and compete.
I wish Neil or Blake would try to compete, I know Neil is retired, but would be cool to see if he's still competitive.

After waiting since January for my replacement gravel frame, it finally arrived the other day!
Now I just need to wait for the rest of the parts to arrive . I was told the AXS Force shifters should be shipping in early October, but the Eagle cassette should be shipping in March…
But here is my half built Rodeo Labs Flaanimal 5.0. I’m loving the purple White Industries headset with the black frame.
Before it gets pointed out to me, I do realize the rear wheel is on backwards haha.

Low-key Mini Jam in the woods yesterday afternoon. They're just as much fun as you can imagine. Absolutely no consequence so we quickly were attempting ridiculous things like 360s

@flipnidaho nice cutty and brook! Love it!

@LeFreakyBone man, that wait has to be killing you! Love the RodeoLabs bike though! And dig the tan sidewalls with it.

@abacall those mountain photos has me wanting to get up into Northern New Mexico in the next few weeks for the fall colors. Our temps here in ABQ are dropping to the 40s for the lows, so should be soon that starts, if it hasn’t already. Gorgeous photos and scenery!!

And, I did my first race this weekend - the Albuquerque Dirt Fiesta MTB 12 Hour Race. Got in 6 laps on an 11.5 mile loop with 1K elevation. 70 miles total and 6.2k total climbing. 10/20 in my age group. I was pretty stoked to ride that much - I road bike mainly, so I’m fit but I just really started consistently riding MTB last month when I got my StumpJumper. I had a blast and this pic shows how much fun playing in the dirt can be!! :)

You have no idea haha. The MTB has been holding me over, but I do miss putting in miles on mixed terrain.

That race sounds brutal! That’s a solid finish for a first race!

I rode Crest to Canyons yesterday, too. That tailwind up Puke Hill was excellent. Conditions were also excellent, not to mention those colors starting to pop. Ran into the absolute largest bull moose I have ever seen in the Wasatch on the Canyons Connector trail. All in all, an excellent day.

Just got the 1up rack delivered. This thing is sweet!!!!! I didn’t realize how stout it would be. And so easy to install and load up. I only had about 10 minutes to look it over, but initial impressions are high! Now I need to go pick up my receiver hitch for my DD and install that tonight and I’ll be set for all three vehicles to bring bikes with on any trip!

Thanks again for all the insights and comments a few weeks back. You all rock!

Transition launches alloy since delays with carbon, but it’s a sad day that comments are now “killing it” price wise at 3800 for an entry spec bike.

    PreCovid $2800-3000 bike.

really, what was the spec comparatively. You're right if that's the case.

That more so means other manufactures have just caught up in price to what Transition used to be.
Similar to Pivot, they used to be a lot more than everyone else, now they're all just super expensive.
