What mods should be done???

It depends on the system. I havent had a chance to test all exhaust systems, but I have found that the Dynomax super turbo has given the highest h.p. gain so far. Im tired and on my first cup-O-coffee, but iirc, the Dynomax gave an 8 hp gain. Flowmast lost hp, magnaflow gave a few. The reason for the loss in mpg most of the time is due to less efficiency of the system. A high flow exhaust may give more hp on the top, but since the timeing of the exhaust is screwed up, a loss occurs at the bottom end, which is where most people are in when driveing. There is more to it than just scavenging as well. Size can play a role. If you go too large a diameter, the exhaust pulses loose velocity, and cool too fast, throwing the scavenging off. On new vehicles, there reall is more to it than just throwing an exhaust on and saying you got a bizzillion more hp. The phisics of an engins efficiency start at the intake, and work all the way to where the exhast exits. I tried to do a write up, but the post was too long, and the site wouldnt accept it. At which point I said "screw it". Maybe I will give it another go today and just make 2 entries.

HAS ANYBODY CHECKED THE PERFORMANCE ON THE MBRP EXHAUST? I installed one and they claim 10% hp boost. Thanks.

10% would be over 20 h.p.. Hard for me to belive an exhaust would yeild that much, but I havent dynoed one.
