5BD7BCCD-240C-457F-996D-C5A150F58D05.jpg Ok so I need some assistance in some wiring. This is what I would like to do. I bought these white lights that I would like to make into puddle lights in the outside mirrors. So i know i can just run wires and tie them into the running lights, but I want to also make them work with my turn signal lights because i have the diode dynamics flasher relay witch keeps the flahers on and off for 10 seconds when you lock and unlock.but I don’t them to flash when using the turn signal. How would i wire this up. So basically two different circuits feeding one light . Is this possible?E82A701F-26EB-4A71-AFBC-41AA186D7C2E.jpg

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
If you had lights with 2 filaments it might be easier.

Do you have a print how you wired the Diode Dynamics flasher ?

The DD is a direct swap super easy. I see what you’re saying about a dual filament. Didn’t even think about that or even if they make a led light like that

If you could specify the primary function of the added LED.

In the interior fuse box there's a connector 1E, it has a blue wire on slot #9, that will be the ground to the "Puddles". The added LED needs constant fuse power also. So that would be slot #7 White wire. It's fused constant power, so remove the negative battery terminal before you go splicing.

Thanks for the diagram. I guess my only way to make them work with the lock/unlock is this way

Is that not what you wanted them to be? "puddle" lamps.

They could've, but that involves adding an additional relay to cut off the feed from the Turn (L& R) circuit at each door/puddle LED when the vehicle is ON. Duplicating the unlock/lock of the cabin illumination circuit seems to be the puddle thing.:burp:

Well I started the mod today so far so good
I thought fishing the wire through the door was going to be a PITA but wasn’t bad. I got the driver side installed looks clean. And I temporarily connected the blue and white wire to make sure it works and it does. Hoping to finish passenger side tomorrow and make permanent connections

Also just for info. I have this installed and after you lock it keeps some lights on but it does not do anything if you unlock. So the dome tap is better. I plan to do similar. How much do we think we can tap? I have some puddle slights I need to swap and also some lights below in the seats I swapped.
