When you order a Redarc brake controller it comes with a vehicle-specific switch insert. This insert has "TRAILER BRAKE" lettering cast into it but they are not painted. This is easily done yourself.
What you need: Testor white model paint, testor paint thinner, a toothpick and a cotton swab.

Mix the paint well with the toothpick and wipe the excess paint off of it. Then get a small drop on the end of the toothpick, deposit it in the center of each word and push the paint back and forth to fill in the letter depressions. This should leave the letter depressions mostly full of paint with a little residue on the surface of the switch insert. Wait 30 minutes or so for the paint to solidify.
Then, dip the Q-tip in the paint thinner and roll it on a paper towel to remove the excess. Lightly brush the unwanted paint residue with the Q-tip until the residue is mostly gone. You'll need to repeat this step with the other end of the Q-tip that has not been contaminated with paint to completely remove the paint residue.
    TA-DA!
