Yeah I saw that and everyone is really quite about it. I guess since they are all Y'tubers they're waiting for him or MRW to post a vid. Cleetus said nothing which really was weird.

Heya Chef Mike, glad to hear from you. How's it going? How are the boys?

Sounds like a great get away. I went up to the villa a few weeks back, fixed a whole page of to-dos and found a whole bunch more for next trip.
Wife slowly got rid of my flannel, still haven't forgiven her.

Yes they're being very quiet about it !! :notsure:

What's strange is Doug posted a video about the new refreshed engine a few days ago saying he upgraded to Weisco rods from the stock rods he was running that had 600 runs on them

Also there was talk about spark plugs with all the electrodes smashed after just one pass which is strange . Either the crank broke or the pistons hit the valve grenading the engine

Hi Dan! Yeah been awhile since I've saved off any pictures from my phone too. Just went through a few and they are either wildlife or food LOL. How about a Porterhouse getting a sear?

Pup just turned a year old and is still, well a puppy. Might end up taking just him and leaving his Dad behind but struggle with that. Dad isn't really thrilled with his son many times and seems to just irritate the old man. They are a handful and have been keeping me busy. And moving which is good, in theory.

The old man is just getting ready to turn 7 and is in his prime. Last year was a good year for him and hate to see him miss a year but might have to sit this one out.

That was Oct. 25th last year I come back the 20th of Oct. this time and hope the snow isn't as deep this year. For that matter it can wait a LOT longer.

    Hope all is well!

Hey Andy doing OK here. Youngest son is getting spine surgery mid December and hope it helps with his pain and mobility. They will do another operation on the upper spine once that heals. At least his cancer is in remission and he is still alive so all is good.

Aren't you getting fairly close to punching the retirement ticket and moving to the Villa full time? If you can pull it off you should!

Then again I could retire (again) but will keep going for a few more years yet. All my friends are retired now and they have to keep telling me how retirement is the best job they have ever had. I tell them I already retired but am still working so I am retarded not retired.

I just hit 60 and my Mom passed earlier this year so I actually could retire. Just not sure if I want to right now. My kid seems to be over the seizures but needs to get his shoulder operated on again, he lost his last 2 jobs because he couldn't keep up with the manual labor. So at 23 he probably won't be able to work until the end of the year.
I don't think I can work more than 2 more years, maybe semi retire and get a part time job somewhere

Don't you just love it when you start dating someone they almost immediately tell you what you can and can't do? Flannel isn't a color, it's a way of life!

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good morning.

The rain has moved on and the forecast looks good for the next 5 days. Tomorrow morning temperatures are expected to be low 50’s here.

@Cold Iron Glad that you’re doing well Chief Mike, enjoy the trip with the dogs and birds.

    Morning folks,

Have a great time out and about today.

Weather guessers are saying cooler drier air headed our way, that means upper 80s instead of mid 90s.. Ok I'll take it at this point..

Morning fellers! ( and gals!) I'm about to hook up the 4runner to the trailer and get the last load of firewood. There's a monsoon headed my way, if I'm quick enough I can get this load home and covered up before the sky starts to leak again.

:pccoffee: Good morning. 41° guess can turn off the AC now.

Sorry to hear about your mother, recall well when you cleaned out the house. Good luck to your son on the shoulder surgery and hopefully the seizures are gone for good! Yeah hard to hold down a job when you can't physically do much of anything. My youngest moved back in 3 years ago and not much light at the end of the tunnel for him getting out on his own. It is what it is.

One of the good things about the shift to working from home is that for many jobs anymore you can live anywhere. Been ahead of that curve for around 5 years now. I've known a number of people that have taken early retirement and then come back as a contractor or work for other places and they end up making more money part time than they did working full time.

Thanks! Sounds like good shooting weather in your neck of the woods to me  Hope your getting to throw lead and have a decent supply of it yet!
