Fellow 3rd gen Tacoma owners, specifically those with Morimoto XB LED headlights. I just disconnected the DRL harness that was connected to fuse box. Got tired of the DRLs coming on at 4am when truck is totally off. This is a known Morimoto issue. I just disconnected the harness to eliminate the problem but it has a double fuse. One for the DRLs and I assume another that's in the way of the necessary slot for the lights. When I disconnected the harness, I would imagine I now lack a very important fuse. My TRAC OFF (traction control) and check engine lights came on. I am also not able to accelerate very much (high RPM and can barely touch 30mph). From what I'm describing, does anyone know which fuse I need to put back and what amperage? I have 3 spare fuses I can just pop one back in. Thanks in advance and apologies for the newb question

Edit: have put a 10amp fuse back where instructions originally say to plug harness in. Nothing new has happened. Stuck at a family members house for the night hoping someone can point me in the right direction to fix whatever and be back on the road

What was the fix in order to avoid having the lights turn on?

Looks like his INJ or EFI fuse is backwards. Not sure if that was the issue though for sure. Would be interested to know what his solution was too

You just need to use a fuse that doesn’t occasionally get power. The efi gets power when the truck runs tests after it’s been turned off.

You cannot put a fuse in backwards. The way the numbers face is not functionally important.
