The joys

Hey everyone, New to the taco life coming from owning two 4runners (99RIP) and also a 03 runner (put away stock pilling parts and build for my daughter’s first car in 8 more years lol) Picked up a 06 four door tacoma about 2 months ago.

Problem 1) the driver side frame cave in from the motor mount. Old owners mechanic changed the motor mounts, fan shroud, drive shaft and wheel bearings to find why the fan was hitting the shroud while driving. Do not know how they missed the big hole in the frame. I found it after a quick google search (which brought me to this site) and a five minute YouTube video. Fixed now

problem 2) anyones door arm rest cave in? Anyone know of good fixes?

problem 3) the intake rattle. Thanks to post here I loosened up the clamp and turned clockwise tighten back up no more rattle!

I did run my vin to see if it was one of the affected rust frames but no recalls were shown so idk i guess ill find out one day.

I love this truck so far. Even with the cave in issue. Kids are getting older now so I finally have the truck of my dreams. Both of my runner have and had over 220xxx miles on them so i hope this taco with 140k does too!
