I’m looking for a bumper/bull bar/brush guard for my 02 Tacoma. I really like the coastal off-road (pics 1&2) and relentless fabrication (pics 3&4). Does anyone have any recommendations? Or one they love?? I also like the arb which I know is super popular but I’m still leaning for the other two. I’m planning on mounting a winch at one point and like to have options for off-road lights. I’m new to off-roading and Tacoma’s so I will take Any advice or opinions y’all got. Last pic is of my truck. Thanks!:)

If you're new to offroading, skip the bumpers, lockers, skids, and all that jazz.

Invest in basic safety equipment like a first aid kit, an air compressor, (to fill your tires back up after airing down), and gas.

These trucks are more than capable for the average driver 100% stock.

If you know other people with trucks/4x4s, get together with them and go find some trails to play on, or go to an off-road park.

If you don't know anyone with a 4x4, well first, get better friends... :D but seriously, get a meetup organized, or join in on one. There are always folks going out to play in the dirt, and you'll always find one for your skill level.

Tires, bumpers, winches, and lockers don't make you a better driver. Only seat time does that. Then, when you get more comfortable, you'll be able to decide which mods are more important for your style of driving and the types of trails you frequent.
