    Hi all,

I am trying to diagnose an issue that recently started with my truck...

When I turn the steering wheel to full lock, making a left hand turn, there appears to be a rattling noise from the front driver side wheel.
The noise only happens when going forward, not when in reverse.
The noise does not happen when making a right hand turn in full lock.
If the steering wheel is not at full lock left turn, the noise does not appear.
The noise only happens when at full lock making the left hand turn.
There are no vibrations when making the turn, no crabbing etc.

My truck has 88,000 miles on it with stock suspension & steering components.
The tires have been on the truck for about 50,000 miles or so.

The noise is not a rubbing sound and the tires are not rubbing anywhere.
It's definitely more like a rattling noise or maybe even a slight grinding sound (not from a rock in the wheel either).

Any idea what might be causing this noise??

    Thanks!!

Have you had a good luck at the dust shield for the front brake?
