Part of my job is the I.T. support for the local EMS. Goofing around in all the ambulances for their OBC systems makes it SO tempting to play with all the buttons and knobs. lol

It's brand new. Less than a hundred miles on it ... waiting on a Retraxpro XR tonneau cover so it will stay that way.

You’ve got to be careful with fridges and the height. I don’t know how low the retrax is but my dometic is a cfx 45 it’s pretty tall. I’ll get a pic later.

I don’t know why that’s so awesome. But it really is. What about the siren. Wake up the neighbors. Just tell them it’s okay it’s for a bunch of little kids.

Got rear-ended today by some moron woman who was not paying attention. Saw her in my rear view mirror at the very last second looking down at something and not what was in front of her. She couldn’t understand why I was so upset with her.

Bumper, trailer hitch and auxiliary hitch light are the only apparent damage, however, one never knows what may be hidden.

She was probably on her phone. I feel like you should be able to file charges against someone for gross negligence if they hit you while looking at their phone. Just my opinion.

It's kind of funny that the siren actually comes programmed with the "Bad Boys" theme song, that has proved to be a lot of fun!

Beautiful work! One question, why did you choose 5052?

This is actually how most of the Tacoma's get totaled by the insurance. The tow hitch is so strong that when you get rear ended, it tends to bend the frame and the insurance will total your truck.

Good thing yours doesn't look to bad. Hopefully only replace the hitch and you're good!

Isn't this the protector for dogs to ride in the back?

I didn’t see her with a phone when I walked back to her vehicle.

I suspect there was something more going on as she was given a “few” citations by the officer and her vehicle was going to be towed - even though I saw no reason for it as there were no fluid leaks or other signs it was not driveable.

She seemed a little “air-headed” when speaking to me.
