OZBoost turbo group buy 2TR-FE and 3RZ

Does anyone know if this OZBoost kit would work on a 2016 3rd gen Tacoma with the 2TR-FE VVTI? Has an automatic transmission and is 2wd.

 

That's a good looking entry level turbo kit. We just need more tuning and injector solutions.

what did you do for the air injection on your manifold, as far as i can see on the kit the manifold dosnt support it. did you delete the system of plumb it in the exhaust further down ?

 

Going to be waiting a long time, most likely, for a response. He hasn't been on here in ages. He is the owner of www.boostlab.com. You could always give them a ring, and get some first hand information that way.

Most on this forum, have just gotten the manifold from Alibaba. Then pieced everything else together. The 2TR performance thread has a lot of good information. As well as the Turbo BS thread.

 

after 5 years have my turbo installed. I'm still in the process of installing the ecu standalone. the turbo header is same as alibaba all other part of the kit is custom.

I have an ecu master emu black and the rest of the hilux works with the original ecu.
2 weeks ago my turbo was damaged. I'm waiting to finish calibrating



After so much time, I changed my turbo to a pulsar psr3584 gen 3 ball bearing a/r 0.63 and 3 inch exhaust with 4 inch cherry bomb (3 inch modified) I have problems controlling the psi, they have peaks of 17 psi. has a stand alone emu black ecumaster injector 750cc

I'll add this info for your future reference. The turbo header works well enough. However, there have been plenty of cases, where the welds crack, at the merge. Be prepared for that, to have the gooches re-welded. Others than that, have a blast!

 

I'm in for the 180 degree bend dryer exhaust hose mod.

Most people here have purchased the header directly from Alibaba. Then pueced the rest together.

 

Has anyone ran there 2.7 2trfe Tacoma 1/4 mile

 

What ecu did you go with? And could I recalibrate my speedo with a stand alone ecu?
