So I ordered an ARB bumper that originated in LA, Saia freight picked it up and arrived in Phoenix within 10 hours.
This is where the fun begins...
Saia does not deliver to my area so they were to transfer the bumper to another shipper.
Mind you the distance between each terminal is only 4.1 miles apart.
Saia lost my bumper and after six days they cannot locate it.
I have contacted all parties involved with no answers.
Now I'm out a lot of money and a bumper.
I am so pissed right now!

    Rant over...

I feel your pain man. File a claim with them and call your credit card company. If you used debit it might be harder or impossible.
    Good luck

If they lost it they will be held liable. File a claim. Who knows maybe someone who works there has a Tacoma and knew exactly what it is. Lots is items have “fell off the truck” so to speak over the years

I have to wait till OCT 4th to file a claim through Saia. I'm just trying to understand how this is possible. Incompetent warehouse workers I guess.
I assume it is in the back of a trailer heading to Bangor Maine and I'll never see it.

A little back history, I have been waiting on this bumper to arrive from Australia for almost a year now.
And to finally have it here in Arizona and then they loose it, oh how I dislike Saia freight.

Usually if you order something from a vendor and it’s not received you can dispute through them or the CC company. It’s different if your sending an uninsured item to your uncle Buck or a friend

I ordered a bumper through a dealer last February and was given false shipping dates of April and never received it. So after confirming with ARB/USA that the bumper shipment in April did not have a bumper assigned to the company I ordered it through or with my name on a manifest I canceled that order.
I ordered the same bumper again through another dealer and was given shipping date after shipping date that never came through. I ended up contacting ARB in Australia and they assured me that 12 of the bumpers I wanted were currently in route to ARB/USA.
So I contacted ARB/USA one more time and they confirmed yet again that no order coming in was for me or the dealer that I had purchased it through, so I canceled that order as well.
They then told me I should buy one from 4 Wheel Parts in California, I called them up they had one in stock and shipped it out the next day.
It arrived in Phoenix the day after and Saia lost it some how.
So now I have to wait till the first week in October to file a lost freight complaint against Saia.
4 Wheel Parts attempted to locate a replacement bumper, but there is zero stock in the USA.
The next shipment from ARB isn't scheduled till the end of October, and who knows when they will actually be cleared through the port and be available.
So I may have to wait till hell freezes over for a bumper.

Did you handle the shipping or did 4 wheel pts organize the shipping arrangements?

4 Wheel Parts covered the shipping. They have offered to start a claim and reimburse me the money. I want to wait till I can force Saia to make it right first, that is why I have to wait. Saia's policy is 10 business days after the initial investigation for lost freight was started. They started the investigation on Monday.

I ordered that same bumper for my 84 4Runner, I went through Summit Racing and it was a few months before it arrived via UPS. This was prepandemic though so not quite the same. If you get your money back and want to give it another go I'd try them.
