2021 OR Fog Lamps

The housings were designed for halogens don’t run leds. It’s not an h11 issue it’s an led issue.

 

I understand I just brought DD sport fogs in amber and loved the light pattern and never have to worry about blinding on coming traffic

 

If I get a set of older OEM fog housings with the recommend H11s I should also be worry free when it comes to oncoming traffic correct?

 

What year is your current truck and how old are the fog housings your talking about? Non factory led fogs are gonna be the same from 2016 to current models

 

My truck is a 2021 Off Road and has the H16 housing with plastic lens. From what I have read, previous year 3rd gens (pre 2020) have housings with glass lenses that run H11 standard.

 

These don't appear to be for Tacoma.

 

These fit right in.

 

Ahh, I ended up ordering Diode Dynamics yesterday. At this point I am gonna just start purchasing from reputable companies and researching less.

Do you have any pictures with them on at night? I didn't realize Toyota had an OEM LED option for these. Very intrigued.

They look great. I love that they're a fully white LED. Extremely clean cutoff. Guess I know what I want for Christmas this year.
