Hi all. Been scrolling the forums reading up on Rear Led Pods and Tailgate lightbars. Looking at OPT7 tailgate light bar but thinking I may also want to add a flush mount Rigid Ignite to rear as well at some point.

Saw people using Curt's 56584 harness as a plug-n-play for adding the 5 pin connector to power the light bar. However it doesn't give me a constant 12v hot if I decided to add a pod later on (without using a wire tap).

Looking at using Curt 56070 instead since it's the full 7 wire harness. Would just remove the trailer receptacle end and add replace with the connectors I need. End result would look something like the image below.

    Things I know:
    1. Lights would only work with the ignition on
    2. Chassis harness has relay and larger fuse further up.
    3. Draw for these is way below what harness is designed for (Rigid = .85 amp, Opt7 = .25 amp)
    4. Switch would go in the bed somewhere

Thanks in advance for your feedback
