I believe you are going to be ok even though you are in the mustard camp!

 

I had something strange like this happen when I turned 25 x 2. I had gone out to my favorite pub and knocked back a few pints of my normal English Ale. When I got home that night I got violently sick, like the way when you were a teenager and you had your first bad alcohol experience. I had a migraine that lasted days afterwards. A few weeks later I go out to enjoy a pint or 2. I take my first sip and just tasted vile, it was like it so so sweet it was disgusting. I thought that maybe my mug ( mug club mug, so no one should have been using it) was dirty, they washed it and poured another. Same thing. I tried a taster of a different IPA and had the same reaction. Over the next few months whenever I tried any beer that I liked ( which was almost any style of IPA, Double IPA, stout, cream stout,...) I had the same exact reaction.

Nothing has changed in the past 4.5 years, I try a sip of any beer and it just tastes so horrible I simply can't drink it, so I gave it up. My body was done with it. I really don't even miss it except maybe once or twice a year when a big group gets together and we crabs or go to a bull roast. I've found that I can tolerate an occasional glass of Chardonnay or a Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon.

I've had it for about 3 years and I finally get to try it tomorrow. I'm really leaning towards a off road tear drop to tug with the 4runner but I will give this an open minded try.

Morning folks, can’t handle my liquor anymore. Two pints with a few buddies after work yesterday, I got a hangover.
Edit, pints of beer, strong 7.2% good stuff.

Working today, took tomorrow off, and off all next week. Wife and I have a cabin rented in the N. GA mountains on Lake Burton. It's been a while since we've had some R&R, looking forward to it.

It’s fundraising today lspca is putting on a poker run seems to be lots of enthusiasm and the volunteers are stepping up hope it goes well. We’ve spent over a 100 grand on medical cases so far this year. And they keep coming. Wish us luck!!
