I have a set of stock steel wheels with 245-75-16 tires on my o7 Tacoma and am getting ready to put some larger tires on it. I got a set of TRD OR wheels, and a set of FJ TRD center caps to mod for them, and am trying to decide what size tires to get. The truck has 5100's all around, set at 2.5 in the front, and a toytec AAL in the back that gave it 3 inches of lift, no TSB done. I only have the 4 cyl. and was going to go up to some 265-75-16's , but wanted to know if anyone was running 235-85-16 on their Tacoma, and how it would look. Living in the snow belt, I like the idea of a 32 inch tall tire, while still having a narrow footprint of only around 9 " . I found a set of 4 new Firestone LT235/85R16 Transforce AT tires for 250.00 and was considering them. Any ideas as to if this is a good way to go or not ? Thanks in advance.

you're talking about a tire that's almost half an inch skinnier for you. I would consider a 255/85/16 as a possible option. Hope this information helps
