Home repairs:



Oil change and tire rotation..tested out the new DeWalt light.



Finally utilized the drain here after clearning the debris out using an old chainsaw file tip:



Note: don't use cheap plastic cups. I was doing such a great job keeping everything clean.

Both of our bikes are just off the rack Schwinns. I'm looking for something a little more stout for some real mountain biking..like trek or specialized

 

Bah!! Schwinn is a great ride..though to be fair I don't do anything aggressive for MTB. Though my 86 works well.

 

Trek Roscoe makes for a great and also affordable entry MTB. Let the MTB addiction take hold!

 

That’s what we ride. They’re phenomenal! My wife rides the Roscoe 6, I have a 7. We really need to get those out more.

 

For sure. But with winter coming and tires on their way out, wheels and tires first.

 

I had a Stache for a while and massive amounts of fun! Ended up selling it to a buddy, and picked up a UK steel hardtail!

Looks exactly like the TC ones except they use 3/16” steel for the tabs vs 1/4”. I didn’t know that they made them though.

 

Well, a week ago, the strykers were available to order 5. This week, there was only 1 available. So, I snagged it. It'll give me a chance to see how it looks and decide how I like it and if I want to proceed. I figured that minimal investment is the way to go if I change my mind/plan.

The plan is to order new tires for black Friday this year. Thinking General Tire. Second choice would be some Cooper tires.

Needed clamps for woodworking projects and ever since I was a kid, my dad had the blue and yellow. They were on sale from Acme so it was a no brainer.

The back of the weather tech is a bit in the way. I didn't cut it yet. I marked it and everything but I want to see what's going to fit there first and how it's going to fit.

Going to order mounts for a D cell maglite and for a 2.5 lb fire extinguisher. My 3.5 is a bit big for the space. Thinking that I will eventually order one for the passenger side. Liking it so far.
