I assume since they are led it's causing the turn signal issue, does anyone have the part number for the flasher I need or will that work for the tail lights? I have an '08

Hint, the resistors get hot! So be careful around plastic and fingers.

Depends which flasher you have, if you have the DRL (12 pin) flasher I don't believe anyone makes a LED flasher. If you have an 8 pin flasher Diode Dynamics makes an LED flasher

So, did you buy new taillights that are not plug-n-play or are you just putting LED bulbs in OEM housings? Just trying to clarify

I don't know your wiring skills but it may be easier to just get a plug-n-play set. I've been running this style with no issues... https://www.ebay.com/itm/133542337178?fits=Model%3ATacoma

My advice is buy the flasher. - If you don’t have DTRL.

Yes, resistor work. But I don’t like the idea of adding more components and more connections. More stuff= More to go wrong.

Or you could go back to OEM?
At this point, you might as well spend a little more and make it work.

I know the feeling all too well.
You buy something, only to have to buy something else to make it work.

I ditched my aftermarket lights for this reason. I went from the ugly OEM LED to aftermarket, back to OEM Pink tails. Best aesthetic mod to date.
