How to put in led drl lights without blowing fuse

leveling kit

I have put drl led lights in my truck before, I was switching the purple to orange led lights when I noticed my left turn signal wasnt working. Later none of my turn signals were working. I blew the fuse. Is there a trick to putting in led drl lights without blowing a fuse?
