Bought my '07 dc sport 6m new, - arb, rocktec bumpers, ome/dakar suspension, siped 235/85/16 DuraTracs on steelies........

I use it for work in the bush, often the first down a trail after the excavator, mud, dust, snow, ice, work goes on.

Lost all the oil out of the motor a month ago, 2021 dc trd or will be here in a couple of weeks. It will be used and abused from day 1. Also have '97 Hilux in Central America.

A few pics of it's transformation over the years.

if you like the duratacs in the muddy roads try the Toyo AT'3. I like duratracs but what my toyos did the other day was even better 25-30 degree hill in slicker mud then you have pictured there and I climbed it with full traction control off. the biggest surprise was coming down I was scared at first but the braking ability of the Toyo's was even better then the Duratracs

Thanks, yet to find a reason to change out of the DuraTracs, especially siped, but I'll keep them in mind. My 2nd Gen manual didn't have any traction control. Being my work truck and where I use it, anything over 2 years out of tires is a bonus. BTW, most of my pics are from a project just south of you in the Cariboo. Last Fall was so damn wet.

mud looked similar to the stuff around here. the next test for the AT'3 will be winter. so far wear looks pretty good but l only have 3500K on them and they look like new still but so did my duratracs on my last truck

Not to push but this a bit more of a detailed account of my muddy hill
On the muddy roads the Toyo AT'3 shine, hill climbing 25-30 degree hill along the pipeline being constructed and every vehicle for the pipeline had chains, slick mud, and I climbed it with full traction control off. the biggest surprise was coming down I was scared at first but the braking ability of the Toyo's was pretty impressive they didn't slide. I had to use RPM going up 4-5000 all the way up sliding back and forth from side to side but they climbed! If they perform as well in the snow they will be the best tire I have ever had.
