Put in a bed bar to change up the look of the truck. Gonna mount rotopax containers to the outsides on the turndowns. 20210928_191734.jpg 20210928_191725.jpg 20210928_191421.jpg 20210928_191327.jpg

Installed oem door sill protectors today. Not sure why the truck didn’t come with them. Wading boots and gravel have started to chew them up a bit.

I couldn't find a stand alone grille surround, so I just ordered a whole new assembly in black. I thought I could leave it unpainted, but it didn't match quite right. So I took the surround and a bumper to a paint shop to have them color matched. Then I found the insert on Truck Accessories Guy. I required some minor work, but overall pretty easy install. Had to snip a few tabs off the surround that the new insert didn't have slots for. Then drill out the holes that the weather stripping snaps into on the insert because they were too small. I'll post updates once I get it installed.

For those asking for a pic, here are the replacement mids I put in the liner. Sorry about the cold stare I was concentrating on getting them both in the shot. The kickers are about the same size as the OEM at about 2.5" but the magnets are almost as big. These are actually stuck to the roof as well as attached to the liner but the magnetic draw isn't enough to affect the sound. There are no grilles but as long as I don't punch my roof in anger should be okay. Not the prettiest but it's a work truck. Having sound come from above/behind dramatically improves the overall experience.

Edit: they are centered just behind each headrest but the camera makes them look skewed and uneven.
