thanks. You have a macbook? you try using the Type C+ for that?

 

My phone uses type c but my gf does have the books and stuff

 

I installed the RCI cross member and transfer case skid and it ran up against my exhaust reroute. I’m pretty upset that the shop put the exhaust here and not under the drive line like they said. Also the weld is leaking. Taking it back to the shop to hopefully have them fix all this without charging me again.

got it. i saw the reviews and people said you cant charge a Macbook using the Type C+ plug. So wanted to see if you had experience with it

 

Do you have skid plates with yours? I was thinking of switching to the Fumoto valve with my skid plate because it would be less messy but I'm worried it'll stick below the plate

 

Mine sits under the skid, doesn’t stick out at all.

Fumoto valve has a plastic clip that covers up the valve handle for extra protection. without the cover it still locks in. I never had an issue on my old lowered car or my tacoma. Works well.

 

yep i have the trd skid plate. there's a hole in the plate where you can reach up in and open the fumoto valve. i attach a clear hose to the valve and run the hose into my catch basin, makes it less messy.

 

I just ordered one of those. Was it as easy as snip, connect and install? Or did it take a bit of tweaking to get it in there?

IMO, I dont think that crossover should be so close to the plastic box on the side of the transfer case.

 

I. Agree. I’m just generally kinda annoyed at the work they did. And now it’s even closer.

 

My only gripe is vehicle needs to be on for power or volt read out. I'll later on run it directly to battery.

 

my dealer allows 5k but it takes credit for the 10k oil change even though manual says 5k.

 

Installed my Martin Offroad Foundation rack. 10/10 highly recommend! Took 24 days from order to delivery but @gmartin284 emailed through out the whole process of trying to get crossbars and other updates. The rack was easy to put together and fits like a glove.

 

Installed Cubby caps to keep my fire extinguisher clean and installed Hella Optilux Yellow Xenon Halogen H11 bulbs in my fogs. I had them Lamin-X'd but it started bubbling up around the edges. So I just pulled it all off and went with the Hella bulbs. Very happy with that solution.
