I have brand new pads and rotors on maybe 5-10k miles on them. I noticed that when I jacked up the truck and tried to spin the tire there was significant resistance and the tire would barely spin if I pushed hard. What could be the issue?

I have an 06, caliper is starting to fail on one side. Even with the power of the hulk the 2 pistons on the outer driver caliper refused to go back into place all the way. Had to reuse the worn pad.

Is there any problems or noises from driving?

it actually ended up being the guide pins were corroded, I put some brake grease on them and they don't stick anymore!!!

Yep, I like to take them completely out.
Take them to the buffing wheel and get the as smooth as possible.
And of course apply a LIGHT coat of brake caliper hardware grease.

Good to hear it was something simple and cheap to fix.

Sticking slide pins are common. Remove, clean, apply a light film of high temperature brake grease. Don't forget to clean and lube the slide pin bores.

In truth, the pads will not retract when the brake pressure is removed. The pads will always have some level of contact with the disc. There is not a mechanism for the pads to retract. A bit of drag will always exist.
