Good wood amount, I don't burn much anymore but keep some for just in case emergency heat. I'd like to use the fireplace insert more but the guy who sold me firewood quit that business. He'd deliver a full size truck box, heaped up good for $85

Wood here is between $200-300 a cord . I bought 3 cord 3 years ago . After that I’ve been cutting it and splitting it myself . Bought a splitter last year . Just came out of the woods where I hunt and found a huge oak that fell . I just have to figure out how to get the truck to it .

I was on my hands and knees scrubbing things down, moving rooms around, organizing everything (which I actually love…. The only part of this post that isn’t a complaint) and getting dirty. I had to teach this morning and all of the other shit all afternoon. My candidates this week are….. let’s just say not top tier associates. That makes my job harder. My counterpart is out on covid leave and my helpers are in training themselves. I can’t wait until my partner in crime gets back the week after next!!
