If you have 2-3 best friends forever yall can start a trust to split the cost of suppressors then add a Pulsar thermal and infrared scope to the collection. That's what you call a good night of hog hunting

Just be very careful about what the trust language says. I can't recall if it was a YouTube video or someone who came into the shop but I have seen the boilerplate trusts you can buy online with language that amounts to "any to members of the trust can agree to sell an item." In this example if your g/f and your best friend are in the trust and your g/f leaves you for your best friend, guess who can now sell all of your stuff without your consent.

I paid about $300 to have mine drafted by a local attorney who specializes in estate law since they're somewhat similar to an intergenerational trust. At least according to the attorney friend who recommended him.

The EPC-9 lower I ordered from Primary Arms showed up yesterday. The blemed lower and upper I ordered from Aero will be here Wed. I'll go pick them all up on Thursday when I'm off.

I ordered a buffer kit and Magpul K2+ grip from Wing Tactical this morning.

I'm decided on the CMC AR9 trigger, Aero Breach charging handle, and MLOK 7" or 9" rail. Just haven't settled on a barrel or BCG.....as of now....leaning towards Aero for BCG and Macon Armory for the barrel.

Also want to try a SLR comp

I would definitely go with the macon barrel off the bat if you plan on shootin HP ammo anytime. It's guaranteed to feed all ammo.
I also had the same SLR comp. It's cool but you have to find the perfect length handguard to cover it just right. Most times that length you need will only be a SLR rail and they are expensive.
I had a 8.3 in barrel so I was able to find a Foxtrot mike mlok rail that was just shy of 8.75 inches and it fit perfect and was cheap. But the down side, it was a cheap rail that didn't seem to be centered and had a poor finish. I ended up selling all that and replaced it with a cherry bomb and whistle tip combo and a samson rail. Much happier and I like the look better than the space rifle I had built before with the slr comp.

    How it is now:

I didn't realize length had anything to do with it. I know the SLR is 1.25" in diameter and the Aero rails have a 1.5" ID, so that's what I was going by. I will run either the Aero 7" or 9" rail. I'm set on that, so if the SLR won't work b/c of length.....it won't be an option :D

The 9" Aero rail is actually 9.22" in length. I figured it'd be fine with a 8.3" barrel and 2" long SLR. I'm a ways from getting to the point of buying a comp.....so I can do a good bit of reading......or picture looking

In my opinion the SLR comp looks best with the right amount exposed from the rail. I think with a 9in rail that will cover too much of it and you won't get the look you're going for. I saw all the slr pics of this comp on their guns and thought "on man that looks awesome", only to find out it didn't look the same if I had too much exposed or covered. I went through 2 other rails before the FM rail and they were too short or too long. The SLR rails will get you the length you want for that perfect look, but they also cost alot.

If you do end up doing this, you will have to tighten the comp on the barrel first then slide the rail over it b/c the area you clamp on to tighten will be under the rail. After you tighten it to the barrel, cover it in masking tape before you slide your rail over it b/c the inside of the rail will scratch the finish on the comp if it slides across it. Just a helpful tip.

Ok, I'm with you now. I was never really concerned with/thought about what the "look" would be like out the end of the rail(I just liked the fact it looks like a mini can :D). I'm not dead set on the SLR, so I can definitely look elsewhere if needed. I really like the VG6 Gammas, so I may just throw one of those on and call it a day.

I know... I’m still learning. I really like what I saw & thought I’d ask. I’m sure it’s a custom build and those can get pretty pricey.

I have learned that some of the BCM stuff I like, I cannot have shipped to where I live

I read through this thread and try to learn what I can...when I can.
